Sidharrth Nagappan
Quantitative Research Intern - Qube Research & Technologies
I hold an MPhil in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, where I worked on computational biology in the Artificial Intelligence Group. I was supervised by Prof. Mateja Jamnik and Dr Nikola Simidjievski, as a member of Magdalene College, where I am grateful to have been supported by a Jardine Scholarship.
Before Cambridge, I was a Data Engineer at MoneyLion, where I built big data infrastructure, data lakehouses and streaming pipelines for rapid, scalable and real-time data processing.
And before all of that, I graduated from Multimedia University with first-class honours, at the top of my class, with the Permata Award.
You might know me as the co-founder of Sambal SOS, the open-source aid data crowdsourcing platform built at the peak of the pandemic in Malaysia.
